Crunchy and chocolaty with just a hint of chilli to spice things up....

Cooking time: 25 min
60g porridge oats
180g self raising flour
60g butter
30g sugar
1 heaped teaspoon cocoa
1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder
30g cocoa nibs (optional)
A splash of milk or water
A few drops of vanilla essence
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 deg C
2. Mix all the dry ingredients, except the cocoa nibs, together.
3. Rub in the butter, then add the cocoa nibs.
4. Add the milk and vanilla and mix into a firm dough.
5. Divide into 16ths and place on a greased baking tray.
6. Cook in the middle of the oven for about 12 min, then turn over and cook on the other side for about 12 min, or until they turn golden brown.
7. Enjoy with a nice cup of tea! :)
