Curried Toast/ Eggy Bread

If you want the taste of curry but in the speed of toast? Then this recipe might be for you! It's basically a savoury version of Cinnamon Toast.


Prep time: 5 min
Coking time 10 min.

1 egg
2 slices of bread
1/4 teaspoon tikka ( or any curry) powder
a pinch of chilli
a pinch of aramat ( or salt)
a few drops of lemon juice
Butter ( or spread) for the bread.

1. Butter the bread on 1 side.
2. Mix the spices together, testing the smell/ flavour until you get something you like
3. Beat the egg, and add in the spices and lemon.
4. Place the egg mix on a plate and coat each slice of bread on both sides.
5. Add the bread a slice at a time to a hot frying pan, fry on each side for 3-4 min, or until the egg had set and turns golden brown.
6. Serve and enjoy hot, hot, hot! :)
